Search for Newtown's Best Chocolate Milkshake!!!

This month I have begun a new quest - Newtown's Best Chocolate Milkshake. I began with one of my new favourite places, The Pie Tin. I've decided to rate milkshakes based on chocolatiness, creaminess and all-round milkshake satisfaction.

Chocolate Milkshake at The Pie Tin

I enjoyed this milkshake, I'm sure that they must have put ice cream in it (a good quality one at that) because it had a really nice rich creamy taste to it. It definitely satisfied my milkshake craving, which started this whole thing off.

Cost  $5
Chocolatiness  3/5
Creaminess  4/5
All-round Chocolate Milkshake Satisfaction  3.5/5

Chocolate Milkshake at Bambino Torino's

My next stop was at Bambino's. For some reason I had never noticed this place (the most likely reason being that I would usually be on my way to Campos and far too distracted by my coffee addiction to notice). Anyway, a friend of mine was keen to share their pizza experience with me and he was right, Bambino's sure does have some yummy pizza! Whilst there I noticed that they also sold milkshakes and the guy started talking them up saying that they sell, "the best chocolate milkshakes" here. I took him up on his offer and returned the next day. The verdict is that Bambino's needs to stick to pizza. Pretty much I got chocolate milk, saying that it was a good amount of chocolate syrup that they put in, but I couldn't taste any ice cream. The guy also took quite a long time to make it, which I can't really understand the reason for. Not to mention that their milkshakes are priced at $6.

Cost $6
Chocolatiness 4/5
Creaminess 2/5
All-round Chocolate Milkshake Satisfaction 2/5

Chocolate Milkshake at Moo Burgers

I decided to try Moo Burgers because I saw a woman in the park with what looked to be a milkshake from there. 1 Point to Moo for having distinctive cow patterned paper milkshake cups. This may have been the first time for the girl who served me to make a chocolate milkshake as the other girl was teaching her what to put in. I was impressed that it contained two large scoops of vanilla ice-cream and a 3 second squirt of chocolate syrup. The verdict was, that although it wasn't quite "shaked" completely there was much chocolate milkshake satisfaction.

Cost $5
Chocolatiness 3/5
Creaminess 4/5
All-round Chocolate Milkshake Satisfaction 4/5

That is all I am up to so far, but I do foresee another chocolate milkshake sometime today on this hot summer's boxing day. You may be wondering why Moo Burgers didn't get a 5/5... well, that's because I myself have made better chocolate milkshakes. I used to know someone who had a milkshake machine thing a number of years ago and we used to make milkshakes from Sara Lee Ultra Chocolate Ice Cream... oh... now that's a trick for young players. I would pay $6.50 for such a milkshake.
